These words come written from the heart, for Libby on your christening
To send thanks to the angels, as they were surely listening
For we've been blessed with our own angel, with us on this earth
Our lives were made much richer with the blessing of your birth

A year has not yet passed for you, but already one thing's clear
You've brought much love and happiness, you're held so very dear
We love the joy your smile brings, the way you're full of laughter
Like the princess of a fairy tale, we wish you happy ever after

Even though you're still so small, you have so much to teach
You've taught us that our dreams can always be within our reach
Your parents share a special love but you've added definition
A family brought closer by this wonderful addition

Already full of character, it's a delight to watch you grow
You're so very strong and beautiful - more than you could know
Sparkly lights and music make you flash that cheeky smile
To hear your little chuckle makes those tickles so worthwhile

Just like your second name, you are gifted with much grace
Your hair is blonde, your eyes are blue, you've such a perfect face
You're inquisitive, take pleasure, in everything you do
We hope that your enthusiasm forever stays with you

Your whole life lies before you, full of hope and expectations
A life, we trust, of love and joy, devoid of complications
We're thankful for the chance we have to watch you spread your wings
To share in all your milestones and all the happiness life brings
